The Devouring of the Inner Demons
Here , " demons " are not to be understood as threatening external entities . One must consider, like the great yogini, "all demons are manifestations of the ego".
1. In a comfortable and relaxed posture, become aware that all demons are ego forms.
. 2. Think about guilt
That came from the family, the father, the mother. The anger , the violence . The shame , the indignity . the vanity. the cruelty
3. Traveling within your body, meet this guilt, glimpse it as if it were a demon. What is its usual home (such as an organ, muscle group, bone, or joint) for it? Is this demon itinerant or does he always hide in the same place? Once you have found the demon's dwelling, enter this room with all your senses awake. At first , the place will be quite dark . Sit down and examine the darkness. What do you feel ? What do you see ?
Does this demon have objects around him or animals for protection? Does he appear himself? What form does he have?
5. How many arms, legs, eyes does he have? What is his scent? And the color ? Do you see flames, power animals?
6. Feel the devil's frustration at not being able to fully possess you. Feel that your resistance gives him strength and puts you in a constant struggle. This is the first time you face the devil, the first time you see him. It is no longer an abstract entity. And , to completely appease him , you will offer him your body , your essence . He can devour it, drink it, absorb it.
7. Once the demon is satisfied, the tension disappears. She faces him fearlessly for the first time. His resistance potentiated the demon. Imagine a small golden sphere in the center of your heart. This confrontation may surprise you, drive you mad or violent; maybe he raises weapons, makes terrible sounds. But remain in the presence of the golden sphere, in the calm of the stilled breath.
8. Staying inside the room, visualize that your body floats in the blue-night space and that in this space, around you, dozens of Kalis appear forming an impenetrable sphere. Armed with their glaives and tridents, they await combat with excitement.
. 9. Look the demon in the eye, even if they are bloody, black, or terrible. After taking a deep breath, feel that with the sudden and powerful exhalation, the golden sphere expands, explodes, leaves your body and throws the demon out of its enclosure, through your body, and then into the space where the Hungry Kalis await you. They throw themselves at him, cut him to pieces and devour him.
10. As soon as the demon disappears, the golden sphere returns to the room and fills it with a half-liquid, half-aerial golden light. You float into the golden light and thank the Goddess. This practice is intense and tiring. Deal with only one demon at a time. No more than one a day. After practice , take a shower or swim in a river , lake or sea . It is possible for certain demons to make another attempt and try to regain their space in the body. In that case, repeat the practice with this returning demon, before dealing with the other demons.
