Peyronie's disease

Informative text:
Peyronie is a disease that affects only the male audience, in a small number, and is a variation in the shape, curvature and size of the penis. Generally, the installed curvature can only be observed with an erect penis. Accompanies bearable pain and little discomfort during sexual intercourse. It occurs in some men over 40 and is about 10% of them, according to medical literature.
The disease does not have a hereditary character, it is possible to be observed by the patient himself, some report that they suffered micro trauma with the erect penis, in a very sudden sexual relationship, for example.
Some men who face peyronie suffer from stress, low self-esteem, do not feel confident at the time of intercourse and feel uncomfortable with their partner.
When perceiving the change in the curvature of the penis many feel a slight discomfort and this phase is called acute, which can last from 12 to 18 months, it is at that moment that the penis changes with each passing month. After this period, the new shape of the penis has already installed itself and possibly will not undergo new changes.
It is possible to correct it in the surgical treatment, however, there may be a decrease in sensitivity, recurrence of the curvature over time and shortening of the penile shaft.
* In sessions I have already had the opportunity to assist some men with this dysfunction, none of whom resorted to surgery, reported a difficulty in accepting the new format but resumed their routines. In sexual intercourse when it is necessary to adapt sexual positions, they do not see it as a problem. These men need affection and understanding in the affective relationship and must feel normal to other men who have not undergone this change!
