Labels. We live in a label society:
The crazy
The successful
The drug addict
The whore
The macumbeira
The lover
God's handmaid
The naughty
The crakuda
The fat
The skinny
The depressive
The weird
The hot
The ugly
The worker
The saint
The pervert
To marry
The right girl
The black sheep of the family
The weak
The powerful ...
Ixi, so much ...
If we are going to care about what people say, we will need a lot more therapy than we already need. No matter what they think and what they say, it belongs to those who waste time making conjectures about the lives of others.
What really matters is that we are beings under construction. It doesn't matter the life story, the attitudes we take, the choices we make. It is certain that we will suffer its consequences, but still, they do not define us.
We can choose differently, we can grow, change opinion, change attitudes. Wrong and ugly is to label the other, judge and condemn him.
The transformation is internal. Looking inside, knowing yourself, acting in accordance with our essence is an extremely important quest, but not so simple to achieve. We have a lot to deconstruct, a lot of way to get to love unconditionally, to feel like the unit we are. And on the walk, it is common for people to make mistakes, perceive, learn, or to make mistakes in the same thing again until they learn.
Allow yourself to be a walking metamorphosis. We all are. And the more time we spend labeling and talking about the faults of others, the worse for us, who remain stagnant, feeling better. Deceiving us and failing to make the only possible revolution: the internal one.
I wish for light on our walks. Love, self-knowledge, support from masters and friends, acceptance, celebration of achievements and much growth. May we look back and be happy to see ourselves in today, aware of how much has already evolved during the journey of this life.
