Times when our lives turn upside down

Do you know when you are in a good mood, living life and suddenly you are suddenly called upon to value what really matters? Like an overwhelming punch that you don't even know where it came from, but that suddenly makes you forget all the trivia, the distractions, the things that you believed had to be done, the obligations that you thought you had to fulfill, the things that you believed were problems to be solved ...
Nothing matters to you anymore. The only thing that matters to you is to see that the life of someone you care about is preserved, that your health is restored. It's the only thing that interests you. The care, quality assistance, energies of love and healing that come from the hospital team and spirituality. It's just what you want to happen.
It's amazing how some hard events in life make us grow so quickly and painfully. They balance the soul, the mind, the emotional, the physical body, the faith ...
Until the balance is found again, there are so many questions, so many doubts if something could be avoided, if it would have happened anyway, if it was better to have happened as it happened. So many useless thoughts can cross your mind. None of them are productive in any way.
When the light returns to consciousness, it is possible to thank for each positive moment, for each victory, for the strength, for each help, for each small improvement, for each progress. Seeing every little sign of recovery and being infinitely grateful for them has its beauty.
I learned that we are still too unprepared in every way to help someone who is facing a crisis in their physical health. We should be taught early to know how to act better in these situations.
Going through it all made me see how much I need to learn about these issues, about how to proceed in such a situation. On how to stay calm and strong to take care of those in need and take the steps that need to be taken.
We need to teach these things to children. It has to be part of our education, so that we are better prepared to provide help to those in need. There are many other things that need to be talked about and we don't talk. I'm sure you are able to list some of them easily and quickly.
It is also important to know that we are all of us, parts of a whole. That it was not for nothing the teaching to love others as ourselves. I realized all this when I observed that when something happens to someone we love, it hurts like hell, and we forget that these things happen all the time to other people and how much we can contribute to alleviate the pain and suffering of those who go through these moments.
Certainly learnings remain. Even in the midst of such painful moments, I can recognize that they are. Let people pass on useful, meaningful knowledge that can contribute to someone's help. May we be aware of the importance of taking care and taking care of everyone we can, through gestures, affection, smiles, sweet words, loving looks, patient listening, small and large daily attitudes, hug, help in every way, sharing, help, friendly shoulder, causing laughter and lightness in the soul.
Much love to all of us!
