Nice to meet you, Tantra!
Nowadays the word Tantra in the West is still very confused with sex, unfortunately!
Tantra however is such an ancient and mysterious philosophy that it is very difficult to find people who agree with its meaning.
Tantra in Sanskrit means weft, fabric, but it can also mean the performance of a ritual, a doctrine, a technology, among other infinite possibilities.
Even when we refer to tantra as a spiritual practice, it is likely that we come across many different opinions, the fact is that because it is a teaching considered subversive, on many occasions it remained hidden and many of its teachings were lost among gurus and disciples who kept it absolutely secret.
No one knows exactly when it started, but many experts believe its seeds arise from matriarchal shamanic societies. In view of the various philosophies of the Vedic tradition, such as Buddhism and Jainism, which today we generally know as Hinduism, the difference between them is that they all segregated by reason of gender or caste, while tantra welcomed a middle class that it was not well received by these religions and offered the seeker a direct participation with the divine and the belief that the body is the legitimate way to find enlightenment.
The fact is that these days, almost nothing has changed, the fixation with the external has made the human mind its biggest enemy, the world cries out for self-knowledge and until we deconstruct the idea that the divine manifests itself outside and that paradise is an outer space, we will continue to see nations destroying themselves in the name of God.
Learning to use your body in your favor is a magnificent gift.
If you don't know how to use it, how will you live? If you don't know how to use your own energy to your advantage, how can you be impactful on something?
It is necessary to eliminate all duality, recognizing the body as a phenomenal mechanism to reach enlightenment.
Healing manifests when we look at ourselves and recognize ourselves as our own medicine. Remember you are part of the divine and deserve all the pleasure that dwells in your being.
May the epidemic of love invade us!
