Anxiety is a condition that can affect everyone in these pandemic times. Know how to deal with anxiety so that it is not your biggest enemy mental health .
Important tips:
1. Observation of herself:
Are you anxious? Depressed? Annoyed? Maybe exploding for anything unimportant? Or it’s too closed. Observe and identify their states.
2. Eat well:
Observe if you are eating more or less than usual. And take care of the quality of what you eat and its effects. "Excess carbohydrate makes people more tired and sleepy." Therefore, increase the proportion of proteins, vegetables, legumes and fruits. Avoid coffee all the time, because caffeine makes anxiety worse. Prefer colored juices or teas. Oh, and drink water.
3. Sleep well:
Do your sleep hygiene. Sleep at regular times, in a peaceful and quiet environment, as far as possible.
4.Move your energy:
Continue or start a physical activity. If it's not in the gym, go up and down the building's stairs or exercise indoors. Today there are several tutorials to keep the exercise routine even outside the gym. Even a dance paying attention to your breathing will already make a big difference in your day.
5.Bath with calm and presence:
Bathing is important not only for hygiene, but because it relaxes us. Water renews our energies. It makes your bath a ritual.
6. Meditate:
Even those who have never meditated, today have an arsenal of apps, videos and tutorials for beginners. Complicating yourself makes active meditation, which is the combination of body movement, mindfulness of breath and sound, as I said before, it can be in a spontaneous dance.
Anxiety is part, just don't let it overwhelm you, look at yourself with love and care, if it has been difficult to deal with, seek urgent therapy.
Anxiety attacks are episodes of intense anxiety, which can manifest themselves after a stressful or traumatic situation, but can also happen without a trigger, and which are accompanied by some symptoms, such as:
- Tachycardia
- Irregular breathing
- Fear
- Body tremors, among others.
