Is Tantra Yoga?
What is Tantra?

Many philosophical strands have appropriated the foundations of Original Tantra, associating them with practices and concepts peculiar to their traditions, subverting and corrupting their foundations. Yoga was one of them.
Vedanta and Yoga used many fundamentals of Tantra, creating many contradictions. For example, if the tantric vision goes beyond duality, going beyond the principles of good and evil, right and wrong, yesterday, today and tomorrow, how can there be karma and dharma? If life happens in the here and now, in the way we are tied to this state of perception and awareness, how can we talk about consequences for tomorrow? What is the future? A field of adjustments and readjustments, where the imperative of an inexorable law requires that "whoever hurt with the iron", also be hurt by him? What can we expect for the next lives? How can anyone say anything about the lives that are yet to happen?
This dualistic and contradictory view is part of the Vedic beliefs from which Yoga descends. Tantra appeared 5 years ago, in a region where India and Pakistan were yet to develop. Is it correct then to say that Tantra comes from India? What has India produced from relevant spiritual results? Misery, social differences, devaluation of women and children, which are worth less than animals ... It is the patriarchal view that prevails in a macho and imperialist society.
Unlike Yoga, Tantra is basically about relaxation, acceptance and surrender, having no relation to control or power, either through the mind or the physical body. Attempts to mobilize the rise of Kundalini, through the tongue on the palate and the contraction of the anal sphincter, are very weak attempts, compared to the energetic movement of tantric meditations.
But Tantra is not against Yoga at all. Tantra loves to use the good things in life - and Yoga is one of them. The association of asanas and pranayama with the meditative practices of Tantra is highly recommended and healthy. But there are many other good things as well, such as Tai Chi Chuan, Lian Gong, adequate food, water intake, good thoughts, words and actions, good friendships - sincere and true. There are also music, dance, creative processes and other forms of artistic construction, exercises, meditations or simply doing nothing but observing nature in all its splendor ...
Tantra is inclusion, insertion, in which all the content inserted is good for the individual and his collective group. If this integration promotes love and unity among all creatures, without discrimination, creating solidarity and respect, friendship and peaceful coexistence between all, then yes, the goals of Tantra will be achieved. Goals that will be established in an integrated, happy, healthy, happy and friendly society, which shares the countless blessings of life.
The Way of Tantra is The Way of Love and The Way of Union as well.
