Do you have body awareness?

Having body awareness means recognizing the signals that the body emits. In this sense, we can perceive physical signs that our body is on the edge and needs to rest, or that we are full and do not need food, among others. In addition, our body also reflects the emotional state we are experiencing.
In the emotional issue, the body initially displays subtle signs, but as time passes, the signs become stronger and more intense. I can use Low self-esteem as an example: at first, the body wants to sleep, to stay at home and shows fatigue. Then, the person begins to exaggerate the situations: he eats more and more and as a consequence comes overweight and all the ills caused by it.
But how do you develop this body awareness? You need to have presence with your body, that is, you need to start questioning yourself every time you feel something. Observe what the body means by that sign. This habit takes time and attention.
A good way to start becoming more aware of your body is through conscious breathing.
Create habits to take a slow, deep breath. This breathing reduces the stress of everyday life, in addition to being a way for you to feel your body.
It is important to observe the body reactions in daily activities so that you can stop being mechanical in your activities and feel pleasure with your body every day, whether in the bath - feel the water passing over your head, your torso and so on - in the in front of the mirror, in sex, in everything. Our body is an instrument that needs to be cared for and loved, after all it is our home and we cannot just leave or abandon it.
Some activities that I do when I am agitated seeing my eyes and start to breathe consciously. It is also cool to do this at the time of Sex, because I can amplify the other bodily sensations. I do whenever possible subtle touches by the body to awaken consciousness. This works too much for me, so I invite you to start on this journey towards self-knowledge.
When I start an appointment I always ask how is your body care, I question how much this body feels and most of the time the answer is I never thought about the body like that. The more we know the more the pleasure tends to increase and with it comes the benefits of acceptance and self-esteem.
